ABOUT US

Aim of this team is to develop world’s first innovative chemistries that contribute to the promotion of human live science and drug discovery.

Major research interests of the team include development of

1. Novel strategies for efficient PET probe synthesis,

2. Useful PET probes for in vivo imaging of target molecules,

3. Chemical tools and methods that facilitate chemical biology researches, and

4. Efficient synthetic methods for valuable compounds that are difficult to obtain by the conventional approaches.

To achieve these goals, chemists from a variety of fields, including medicinal chemistry and organometallic chemistry, are engaged in this team. Through the promotion of the researches under collaboration with a number of scientists of different disciplines inside and outside the center, we are looking to face with significant challenges, which need to be addressed by the chemical innovations.
